Questions & Answers (Q&A)
A lot of people ask me a lot of questions about my life, how I make money, what I'm currently working on and some other stuff. That's why I decided to interview myself. And I'm the best person to do this because I know what you're curious about and honestly speaking, no one else wanted to interview me...
So here we go:
Q: Who the hell are you?
A: I'm a totally ordinary, middle class guy that has never achieved anything remarkable in his life.
Q: So what's your deal?
A: I want to make a difference and leave a small dent in the universe, like everybody else.
Q: That sounds a lot like spiritual BS. Seriously?
A: Alright. Here's what you might read on my CV. I quit my job in the summer of 2013. I was fed up with cubicle life. Since then I did a lot of different things (see below). I tried to find my passion and do what I love. I travel the world and work from wherever I want to.
Q: I don't get it. What are you currently working on?
A: I'm currently writing a bunch of books and small guidebooks, publish them on Amazon, write articles on my blog, give public talks, mentor at a bunch of startup accelerators & incubators and startup events in Europe and I have a few very simple niche sites. Sometimes I also host startup events.
Q: So what's your startup?
A: I don't have a startup. I'm my own startup.
Q; Have you ever had a startup?
A: Yes.
Q: What happened?
A: All of them failed miserably (or I lost interest).
Q: Will you ever work on a "real" startup again?
A: Maybe. Maybe not. Who knows. Right now I enjoy doing what I'm doing..
Q: Why should I even listen to you then?
A: Don't listen to me..
Q: Why don't you currently have a startup?
A: I prefer to spread my risk among multiple projects. Just like an investor. If one thing doesn't work out, I have five other revenue streams lined up already.
Q: I still don't get it. How do you make money?
A: With all of the above.
Q: Are you rich or something like that?
A: No. I probably make less than you.
Q: So why do you even do all of this?
A: Read this article right here.
Q: Are you a fraud?
A: Maybe. Maybe not. But what about you make up your own mind and read this.
Q: Cool. Can we hang out?
A: Sure thing. Here's where you can find me.
Q: Awesome. Can we be friends?
A: For sure. You can add me on Facebook and follow me on Twitter.
Q: I love what you're doing. I want to do the same! How did you start with all of this?
A: That's a really funny story. You can read more about it here.
Q: How old are you?
A: I'm 30 years old while writing this.
Q: What's the purpose of this site? Do you look for partners, clients or want to sell anything? I don't get it..
A: The only purpose of this site is to build up trust. To build a connection between two people. Between you and me. Don't buy anything from me. Keep your money and invest it in something more meaningful. Seriously..
Q: Cool. What's next on your agenda?
A: I really don't know. I keep on reinventing myself over and over again. I don't even know what I'll be doing next year. But what I'm doing right now feels good. So I'll do it for a while. Or not. Maybe I'll become a farmer in Inner Mongolia and enjoy watching herds of wild horses out in the plains. Enjoy a light summer breeze.. Who knows? I certainly don't. I suck at predicting the future.
Q: I don't care who you are or what you do. Just take that damn equity in my company. Then we can hang out.
A: Sounds like a plan. Hit me up..
Q: You're funny. What's your #1 recommendation?
A: Don't listen to me..
Q: Thanks for the interview!
A: You're welcome..
