A few days ago I had Colin Wright on the show. Colin is an Author, Entrepreneur and Full Time Traveler. For the past 6 years he has traveled the world and written more than 30 books. He just turned 30 this year. Colin and I have a very special connection. He just didn't know it until I told him on the show..
As some of you might remember I was a bit lost about two years ago. I quit my job, was struggling to write my first book and my girlfriend broke up with me.
And when that happened I read a few books that helped me through the tough times. When I didn't know what to do. A few books that gave me new strengths and showed me new possibilities.
Among these books were Choose Yourself by James Altucher, Love Yourself like your Life depends on it by Kamal Ravikant, The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle and Colin's book My Exile Lifestyle.
Needless to say that I was super excited to have him on the show.
When I listened to the show afterwards I realized that I was constantly giggling. Just like a shy little girl who wants to hide her embarrassment because she finally gets to talk to her big crush.
Nonetheless, it's a very insightful episode and Colin shares many valuable lessons on how he was able to built his career as a full time writer and traveler.
We talk about how he got completely out of balance, decided to quit his job and how he started exploring the world.
How he was able to built a loyal audience for his writings over the past 6 years.
How he let's his readers decide where he should live next.
What he's currently working on and many more cool things.
Colin is a real inspiration. He was a true inspiration to me when I didn't know what to do. When I was completely lost.
Thanks for helping me find myself, Colin.. :-)
