PJ Entrepreneur is a true self made man. And if there's anyone on this planet who deserves the name Entrepreneur, it's probably him. He's also known as Paul Jones. And yes, his family name is Entrepreneur. He legally changed it a few years ago. And it only cost him $200. Paul has been involved in starting, funding, building and selling over 150 companies, so far.
Paul told me that his family was different. "When you don't have a TV in a town of 30.000 people you'll just be different."
So instead of watching TV, he started companies at a young age. That's what he did.
He started his first business at the age of nine, collecting stones at the beach, polishing them and selling them as jewelry for a few years.
After that he got into woodworking, built multiple businesses around it and turned them into a hardware store chain with many millions of dollars in sales.
Ever since he started, built and expanded many more businesses, one of them a direct marketing company with more than 100 employees in Hong Kong, Thailand, the Philippines and the US.
During the show we talk about his many inspiring stories.
By listening to Paul's stories you can really tell that he's passionate about what he's doing. That he loves what he's doing.
We talk about how a car breakdown changed his life and turned into a multi million dollar business in revenues, which ultimately crashed and burned.
How he built the world's first incubator for retail stores when no one even knew what an incubator was. I don't think Paul was aware of this either..
How he built a direct marketing company with many millions of email subscribers and many millions in revenues by basically giving away physical goods for free.
How he launched and built a global underwear brand called Paul Jones out of China by giving a friend who was struggling to make ends meet in the Philippines 50 pairs of underwear.
And how he finally ended up in Kuala Lumpur after having lived in Bangkok and Shenzhen for quite some time where he's now working on a few new projects.
Paul is a really great guy who's passionate about empowering and helping other people to transform their lives for the better.
That's probably the one theme that best describes Paul's life and the things he has done in his life, so far.
Thanks again for coming on the show. It was a great pleasure listening to all of your stories and the things you've experienced in your life, Paul! Hope to see and meet you in person some time soon..
